| To complement
UNESCAP’s programme of work related to norm-setting, policy
formulation, research, and the exchange of knowledge between member
states, UNESCAP offers a wide range of technical cooperation services.
These services are comprised of technical assistance projects, regional
advisory services, and south-south cooperation activities.
The types of technical cooperation activities UNESCAP selects depend
on the needs of member countries as reflected in the Common Country
Assessments (CCAs) and the United Nations Development Assistance
Frameworks (UNDAFs), or in the case of the Regional Advisory services,
from direct requests of member governments. The TC activities are
also selected based on the degree to which they complement the programme
of work and utilize UNESCAPs comparative advantages. For more information
