UNESCAP PROGRAMMES
AND BUDGET

As the regional arm of the United Nations, UNESCAP serves as the main economic and social development centre for the UN for Asia and the Pacific. We provide the strategic link between global and country level programmes and issues. We support our 58 regional governments in consolidating regional positions and in advocating regional approaches to meeting the region’s unique socio-economic challenges in a globalizing world.
