Global Launch

The global launch of UNESCAP's Economic and Social Survey for Asia and the Pacific 2009 took place on 26 March 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dr. Noeleen Heyzer, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ESCAP, and H.E. Mr. Korbsak Sabhavasu, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, jointly launched the Survey in Bangkok, Thailand.
