The short documentary draws on ESCAP's work in the area of disability as well as Thailand's good practices on the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

In our race against time to 2015 on the MDGs, we must ensure that our development efforts reach the people most in need. To do this we require better, more complete data.

UN ESCAP's annual Commission Session was held this year from 17-23 May at the UN Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Delegations from throughout Asia-Pacific came together to discuss how to further economic integration in the region and what can be done to foster inclusive and sustainable development so that everyone benefits from economic growth.
