2 May 2013Representatives of governments from across Asia and the Pacific have wrapped up a three-day development policy forum at the regional United Nations headquarters here endorsing an agenda to lay the foundations of a future of equitable, resilient and sustainable prosperity for all.
18 Apr 2013Asia-Pacific economies will see subdued growth in 2013 after last year’s sharp slowdown caused by external factors, the United Nations said in the releasing of the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific 2013 today, adding that efforts to stimulate demand must go hand in hand with macroeconomic course correction to promote broad-based and sustainable development.
