Knowledge Management Seminar at ESCAP

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program, Regional Centre in Bangkok (RCB) held a Workshop on Knowledge Management on 7 March 2005.

The wrokshop was opened by Mr. Kim Hak-Su of UNESCAP and Ms. Elizabether Fong, UNDP Regional Centre in Bangkok Manager.

RCB's KM Services Team and RCB's Deputy Manager Mr. Stephen Browne made a series of presentations sharing UNDP's experience in imlementing its knowledge services network.

The workshop was attended by more than 40 staff members of UNESCAP who also made significant contributions and ideas for UNESCAP KM program. A preliminary survey was also conducted among UNESCAP staff to assess their understanding of KM concepts and basics.
