Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Week, held this year from 1 to 6 November 2015, brings together government officials and stakeholders every two years to discuss trade and investment policymaking in the region. Drawing on the presence of senior policymakers, the week hosts a series of engaging events covering areas such as trade facilitation and trade agreements, responsible business practices, and science, technology and innovation policies.

Highlights include the flagship Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Report 2015 launch on Monday 2 November. The 2015 Report will review regional trends and developments, provide analysis on the spread of Global Value Chains (GVS) in the region and evaluate policies that contribute to developing countries participation in GVCs.

On Tuesday 3 November, the Asia Pacific Business Forum will bring together over 300 business leaders, high-level government officials, academics, civil society representatives and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing interregional business connectivity, investment and partnerships in the region.
