Asia-Pacific Business Forum 2013

United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok: 25-26 November

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) will hold its 10th Asia-Pacific Business Forum (APBF) at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand from 25 to 26 November, 2013.

The Asia-Pacific Business Forum is the first and only region-wide multi-stakeholder business forum covering all ESCAP member and associate member countries and acts as a platform for regional public-private sector dialogue on the role and needs of business in achieving inclusive and sustainable development in the region. This year's event focuses on: Connecting the Pacific with Asia. Government leaders, including heads of state, and top business executives from across the region are expected to participate in this year’s 10th anniversary event.

With engaging and action-oriented dialogues, ABPF participants will actively shape and influence the policy and business environment in the Asia-Pacific region by formulating their own strategies and policy recommendations which are in turn presented to the policy makers, including the Commission session, ESCAP's highest legislative body.

Note: Please be advised that the venue of the forum has changed from its initial location of Sydney, Australia, and will now be held on the same dates in Bangkok, Thailand. Only the venue has changed, the theme and programme content remain the same.
