The objectives of this meeting are to:
(i) Update current status of the Regional Cooperative Mechanism on Disaster Monitoring and Early Warning, Particularly Drought and its Modalities;
(ii) Discuss future works - Survey questionnaires on space technology
application capability inventory in Asia-Pacific region; Survey framework on space
technology applications sectoral practices in Asia-Pacific region; and finally a Thematic
study;
(iii) other issues for way forward.
The teleconference is expected to be participated by national focal points of RESAP
and relevant experts.
