Bishkek Conference on
Information Society and Regional Cooperation in Information and Communication Technologies for Development, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
(16-18 November 2004)

The Bishkek Conference on Information Society and Regional Cooperation in Information and Communication Technologies for Development was held in partnership with the Government of Kyrgyzstan, UNECE, UNDP and UN ICT Taskforce and attracted 44 participants from 9 countries (Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), 23 participants from 5 UN bodies and international organizations and 20 participants from the private sector, academia and NGOs.
