The Regional Information Service and Education and Training Network (RISEN) of UNESCAP, through the Regional Space
Applications Programme for Sustainable Development (RESAP), have been providing training
fellowships under Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries (TCDC) scheme, that depending on the availability of funds, in applications of satellite remote sensing, satellite
communications, satellite meteorology and space science for technical
specialists from the developing, particularly from least developed
contries and Pacific Island Countries of the region.
