Training Workshop on Enhancing the Contribution of Preferential Trade Agreements to Inclusive and Equitable Trade: Case of Mongolia
The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Mongolia is organizing the capacity building workshop on preferential trade agreements, from 19-21 April 2017, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The purpose of the workshop is to increase the awareness of government officials and trade negotiators of the potential social and economic impacts of preferential trade agreements and how they can be managed through ex-ante and ex-post adjustments, thereby enhancing the understanding of participants of how liberalization through preferential trade agreements can lead to more inclusive and equitable trade.
