Aid for Trade assists developing countries integrate into global and regional trade. This expert dialogue will consider the monitoring and evaluation systems for Aid for Trade projects at both the national and the project levels. The goal of the workshop is to disseminate recent research findings and empirical experiences to gain a better understanding of the ground-level development impacts of Aid for Trade projects in the Asia-Pacific region. The workshop will also explore how these impacts can be better monitored and evaluated through both internal and external monitoring and evaluation frameworks. As a result, the workshop will improve understanding of what are the key determinants leading to positive development impacts.
