Regional Seminar on Unlocking the Potential of Regional Economic Integration in South Asia: Priorities for the Islamabad SAARC Summit

Ahead of the 19th SAARC Summit to be held in Islamabad in 2016, the ESCAP South and South-West Asia Office, in collaboration with the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), organized a Regional Seminar on Unlocking the Potential of Regional Economic Integration in South Asia. The Seminar took place on 16 September 2015 at Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi.

The Seminar brought together senior representatives of prominent think tanks in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, along with trade policy officials from all eight SAARC Countries, members of FICCI and distinguished guests from the development community and think tanks.
