Policy Dialogue on Public-Private Partnerships for Infrastructure Development in South Asia
Recognizing the challenges of financing infrastructure, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) has supported for many years the countries in the region for increasing the role of the private sector in infrastructure development. As part of this continuous effort, the ESCAP secretariat organized a policy dialogue on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for infrastructure development in South Asian countries in collaboration with the National Planning Commission, Government of Nepal. The policy dialogue was held in Kathmandu, Nepal on 22-23 September 2015.
