Joint meeting on the Management of Statistical Information Systems (MSIS 2014)
The Management of Statistical Information Systems (MSIS 2014) meeting is jointly organized from 14 to 16 April 2014 by United National Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and Asian Development Bank (ADB). It will be held simultaneously in Dublin, Ireland and Manila, Philippines with a partly common agenda. The Meeting in the Philippines will be hosted by the ADB. The joint sessions will be organized through videoconference link between the two meeting locations.
The aim of the MSIS is to: provide a forum for exchange of experiences; collect, discuss and make available examples of good practice; and facilitate implementation of relevant standards and recommendations. MSIS meetings consider issues related to information technology governance and management, system architecture, accessibility and usability.
