High-level Policy Dialogue on Regional Cooperation and Inclusive Development in South and South-West Asia
he South and South-West Asia Office of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific organized the High-level Policy Dialogue on Regional Cooperation and Inclusive Development in South and South-West Asia in Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi, on 18 and 19 October 2012.
The event was attended by some 120 Government policymakers, advisors and development experts from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Turkey, as well as representatives of many United Nations agencies and civil society organizations.
The Dialogue coincided with the launch of the first South and South-West Asia Development Report 2012-13, published by the South and South-West Asia Office. The Report will be made available online shortly.
