Business Forum - The Asian and Pacific Energy Forum

The Business Forum is an important side event of the Asia-Pacific Energy Forum, 27-30 May 2013 and will be attended by around 100-150 senior officials from government, including ministers, and CEOs and representatives from energy companies and other leading Asian and Pacific companies interested in sustainable energy use.

This is the first time that that the UN convenes the Asia-Pacific Energy Forum. The view from business in this Forum is considered indispensable. The Business Forum would articulate these views which would be shared with ministers from countries of the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, your company would have the opportunity to meet Russian counterparts and explore a rapidly emerging and exciting part of East Asia full of business opportunities.

The APEF Business Forum is being organized as a Special Event of the Asia-Pacific Business Forum. The Asia-Pacific Business Forum (APBF) is the first and only regional multi-stakeholder business forum organized by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). With its 62 members, ranging from least developed and Pacific Island countries, to countries with emerging markets, the ESCAP secretariat and ESCAP's Business Advisory Council are the driving forces behind APBF.
