As part of the implementation of the ESCAP Resolution 68/5 on “Asia-Pacific Years of Action for Applications of Space Technology and the Geographic Information System for Disaster Risk Reduction and Sustainable Development, 2012-2017”, this meeting will deliberate and adopt a 5 year regional Plan of Action on the Resolution.

This action plan will then be endorsed at the 69th Session of the Commission.
