15 to 16 November 2016 | By invitation only

As part of the development account project “Strengthening the capacity of Governments in the ESCAP, ECA and ESCWA regions to respond to the needs of youth in formulating inclusive and sustainable development policies” ESCAP convened the Asia-Pacific Workshop on Developing the Youth Policy Toolbox on 15 and 16 November 2016 at the UNCC, Bangkok. Present at the Workshop were over 20 participants, including government officials and civil society representatives from Mongolia, Philippines and Sri Lanka, as well as representatives from social enterprises and the other United Nations entities. Participants engaged in active discussions on how to develop and disseminate the Youth Policy Toolbox, the main output of the project in question. Valuable suggestions were received on how to refine and add to the good practices, training modules and other elements of the Toolbox, and discussions took place on formulating Letters of Agreement with national counterpart organizations for implementation of project activities at the country level during 2017.
