Family planning and maternal and child care
7.1
Family planning
-
Family planning activities will be expanded to cover more of the population
through the employment of health volunteers.
-
Permanent contraceptive methods such as sterilization will be expanded. For
other provisional type contraceptive methods, measures will be taken to have
applicants share the expenses involved.

Social measures will be taken, e.g., the revision of the law so that abortion
can be performed legally for reasons of health and social considerations as
well as the enforcement of the Government incentive system related to
allowances given to a certain number of children in education and the
provision of various social services.

Resources from other government agencies will be mobilized in support of
family planning activities.
