Text: WHEREAS, under Executive Order No. 123 dated 30 January 1987, the Commission on Population was attached to the Department of Social Welfare and Development; WHEREAS, in order to facilitate coordination of policies and programs relative to population, it is deemed necessary to place the Commission on Population under the control and supervision of the Office of the President; WHEREAS, Book III, Title III, Chapter 10, Section 31 (3) of the Administrative Code of 1987, authorizes the President to "transfer agencies to the Office of the President from other departments or agencies."
