9. Legal Protection

• Protect women's corporal right and lawful property right; and investigate and punish in a timely fashion civil cases concerning violation of women's rights and interests.

• Severely crack down on criminal activities against women such as abduction, trafficking, abandonment, abuse, battery and humiliation of women to safeguard women's corporal security and dignity; firmly ban prostitution.

• Strictly investigate and punish criminal activities against baby girls such as drowning, abandoning, trafficking and killing; forbid the use of modern medical technology to identify the sex of fetus for non-medical reasons and crack down on criminal acts sabotaging family planning.
