Chapter 2 Registration and Certification of Temporary Residence

Article 9 Those who apply for a temporary residence registration or temporary residence permit shall submit the following documents:
1. Identity card;
2. Credentials of organizations or individuals that provide accommodation for the applicant.

Female applicants shall submit a Family Planning Inspection Certificate for Floating Population issued by family planning authorities above county level at their present place of residence.

Chapter 6 Other Management Measures and Services

Article 34 Family planning authorities are responsible for providing the following services to the floating population:
1. Issue and inspect family planning certificates;
2. Provide family planning publicity and education;
3. Provide contraceptives and birth-control technical services;
4. Penalize violations of family planning regulations.
