Method for Management of Marriage Registration of Liaoning Province

Article 11 Military personnel who are currently in service shall apply for marriage registration with a Marital Status Certificate issued by an administrative body above regiment level in the armed forces where they serve. Those who have served beyond their terms and volunteer soldiers shall apply for marriage registration, during the period of home leave, with a Marital Status Certificate issued by the county People's Armed Forces Department.

Article 12 When applying to local authorities for marriage registration, couples who have their permanent residence registered outside this province but have a Temporary Residence Certificate and a job in this province shall present documents such as a Permanent Residence Certificate issued by the administrative body of the locality where their permanent residence is registered, a Marital Status Certificate produced by the village or neighborhood committees or their former employers, a Marital Status Certificate issued by their present employers and authorization issued by the marriage-registration organization at the place where they have their permanent residence registered to the authorities at their present place of residence.
