| The ESCAP Commission,
at its 58th session, decided to establish among
the three thematic committees, the Committee on
Emerging Social Issues which should meet biennially
and present its report to the Commission. To assist
the Committee in its responsibilities, the Subcommittee
on Socially Vulnerable Groups will be convened
biennially to focus on specific sectoral aspects
of the mandates given to the Committee. |
