This volume presents the current status of knowledge regarding the geology, petroleum potential and petroleum resources of North-East Asia.
This study was carried out by the Petroleum Institute of JSC "Vniizarubezhgeologia". End results of this study indicates that there are real prospects for new discoveries of hydrocarbons in the region that can considerably change the energy balance of the whole Asia-Pacific region.
