This Expert Group Meeting was organized as a first activity under the project Eco-efficient and Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Development in Asia and Latin America, jointly implemented by ESCAP and ECLAC, in partnership with UN-HABITAT.

Objective and outcome
Understand and clarify how eco-efficiency criteria can be applied to infrastructure development (in urban areas), and for evaluating infrastructure projects. The inputs from the Expert Group Meeting have been used to shape the conceptual framework and methodology that are currently being applied in the project.
