This forum aims to present the key findings and recommendations of the Roadmap, discuss how the policy options identified can be used by member States, and explore areas for future regional cooperation.

Specifically, the meeting aims at:

• Present the findings and recommendations of the Roadmap
  
  
• Discuss how the Roadmap can be utilized by member States and seek suggestions on how ESCAP can assist countries in introducing low carbon green growth concepts and policies at the national level.
  
  
• Identify potential activities and programmes for future cooperation with member States.

The Forum gathered a group of experts as well as policy makers from the region and beyond. The Roadmap was presented during the Forum, followed by presentations of the key findings and recommendations. Designated discussants provided comments on the presentations and policy makers were requested to share country experience pursuing low carbon green growth, express their views on obstacles and opportunities in implementing policies, and identify potential activities and programmes for further regional cooperation.
