Conclusions and recommendations

In the closing session, the participants discussed and adopted the Conclusions and recommendations from the EGM. Particular focus was placed on the following issues:

Conclusions (findings) on integrated energy and rural development
Recommendations on project implementation

Proceedings, conclusions and recommendations from the EGM will be utilized as inputs to the development of Guidelines on the Integration of Energy and Rural Development Policies and Programmes. In the next phase of the project, the Guidelines will be used for national and regional training, and as a reference material for the development of national strategies in integration of energy and rural development planning.
