The United Nations ESCAP Pacific Operations Centre and the United Nations Departmentof Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) hosed the ‘Pacific High Level Dialogue on Mauritius Strategy of Implementation +5’ in Port Vila, Vanuatu on 8-9 February 2010. The meeting was followed by the Pacific Conference on the Human Face of the Global Economic Crisis on 10-12 February 2010.
The MSI+5 meeting finalized a regional synthesis report prepared by ESCAP and regional partners, and outline priorities, emerging issues and future areas for further addressing the vulnerabilities of Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
