This volume focuses on inventory of geoscientific data, the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to assess mineral resources potential in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). The GMS countries have identified this technology as an effective method for the rapid assessment of their mineral resources to accelerate their economic development with direct foreign investment in their mineral industries.
