This publication aims at a further understanding of Kyrgyzstan's complex metallogeny and mineral resource potential, resulting from geodynamic evolution and complex tectonic and structural setting of the Tien Shan. Differing from other volumes of the series, it contains a brief review of stratigraphy, magmatism and tectonics of major structural units, placing more emphasis on descriptions of existing mineral resources, mineral potential and recent policy initiatives and regulatory framework for resource development.
