This provision is also the same as that exists in the Constitutions of Lao and Cambodia. One of the more specific features is that it not only involves the State in the task of conserving the environment but also the People's Council at different levels, which act as Local Organs of State. This is an example of the decentralization of the duty to protect and develop the natural environment. |
