Examples of framework to integrate international conventions:
East and Southeast Asia: Establishing legal and institutional framework
As signatories to important international conventions, countries prepared national legal and institutional framework to meet the requirements. Each country formed a commission for its own National Agenda 21. However, the implementation of Agenda 21, the integration of environment and economy, was often undertaken at a superficial and conceptual level. As the memory of Rio Conference faded, the role of the national commission grew weaker, or even went defunct (Republic of Korea).
