- Formulation of an operational framework on the integration of environmental and socio-economic development policies in the Philippines including institutional linkaging;
- Formulation of an action impact matrix (AIM), a tool for identifying environmental effects of economy-wide reforms;
- Greening of the economic internal rate of return in recognition of the need to incorporate environmental concerns in programmes/projects under evaluation by the investment coordinating council of NEDA; and
- Conduct of a study on sustainable development indicators, to serve as basis for monitoring the implementation of sustainable development initiatives at the macro level, specifically the Philippine Agenda 21.
