Achievement of these objectives is to be realised through (i) EIA for Cyberjaya (ii) MSC planning guidelines and (iii) MSC environmental guidelines. Upon completion of the Cyberjaya master plan, the EIA report highlighted various aspects of the impact of the proposed land use and proposed mitigation measures. MSC provided specific guidelines for the different planning area components of the MSC containing standards etc. The environmental guidelines provided standards for environmental compliance with parameters in such areas as air quality, effluent discharges, etc. Compliance with the environmental guideline is monitored from after approval and commencement of the operation.
