D. Multilateral trade and environmental agreement
Existing criteria for obtaining assistance through the Montreal Protocol Multilateral Fund and other international assistance programmes should be reviewed with a view to making those criteria more flexible. That action is needed in order to enable developing countries such as Sri Lanka to make better use of assistance provided for technology transfer and other activities in regard to programmes that comply with international agreements.
