A. Introduction

In order to effectively incorporate environmental considerations into policy formulation in the minerals sector, the process of information acquisition and dissemination must first be improved. At the same time, training is required in various areas of the sector. This chapter provides an assessment of information and training needs, based on the findings of this study.
