L. Training
Training is provided for Forest Department personnel at all levels in order to create a modern social forester with a service-minded, open attitude, equipped with the proper skills for planning, management and extension, and a technical knowledge of typical forestry subjects. Training for VDCs includes technical courses on the enhancement of VOs, village land-use planning, natural resources management, and financial management. Cooperation with, and training of, NGOs and civil societies involved in village development will be taken up in later stages of the project.
