C. Projections of environmental pollution trends in the middle city group

1. Total discharge of wastewater

The total discharge of wastewater comprises two parts: industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater. Discharges over the short, middle and long term have been projected using the coefficient method. The results of those projections are given in table 5.
