Sixty-eighth session of the Commission 17-23 May 2012
The 68th session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific was held at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok from 17 to 23 May 2012.
The Commission session comprised two parts: the senior officials segment, from 17 to 19 May 2012 and the ministerial segment from 21 to 23 May 2012.
The following events were held during the ministerial segment:- A ministerial round table on the theme of the sixty-eighth session, namely "Growing Together: Economic Integration for an Inclusive and Sustainable Asia-Pacific Century", on Monday, 21 May 2012, from 10:30 to 12:15 hours;
- A high-level panel on "Steering inclusive development amidst global turbulence and volatility" on Tuesday, 22 May 2012, from 09:00 to 10:30 hours.
