Information Sessions and Briefing Series
The Knowledge Central is a series of information sharing sessions facilitated by UNESCAP staff members who have completed an individual training from local and international learning institutions. The objective of this programme is to establish a venue for knowledge sharing among staff. It also aims to promote staff members’ participation in individual trainings as a reward for outstanding performance and as a strategic investment.

Target Audience: Staff members with an interest in quantitative analysis, who would like to learn tools to work more effectively with data. No prior experience with Stata is needed. Objectives
To learn how to read datasets with Stata and use the program for transforming the data in various ways for further analysis. The use of do files to run Stata in batch mode is illustrated through hands-on examples. The aim of the session is not to present a comprehensive introduction to Stata but to illustrate how it can be used.
