  Conducting Successful Performance Discussions (for Managers and Supervisors)

    Objectives:
     



    Create understanding of the career development process and impart skills for effective career planning and development
    Clarify the respective roles and responsibilities of staff, managers, and the Organization with respect to career planning and development


    Topics to be covered:

     



    Learn the key skills required to plan for and hold effective appraisal meetings
    Learn how to set performance expectations and motivate for performance, how to provide ongoing feedback, write performance comments, deal with job-person mismatches and prepare performance improvement plans.
