Objectives: This learning activity is designed to serve as an introduction to instructional design. It will help participants to:
• Understand different learning styles and identify preferred methods of learning for each
• Learn how to conduct a gap analysis and identify methods of gathering information for a needs assessment
• Understand a model for creating effective learning modules and lesson plans
• Learn how to develop effective and behavioral learning objectives
• Identify learning activities that cater to learners' preferred learning styles
• Determine simple ways to evaluate if learning has been achieved
