Peace Operations Correspondence Training
Staff members who are considering working for peacekeeping missions might be interested in the distance learning opportunities offered by the Peace Operations Training Institute (formerly called UNITAR POCI). Training courses are self-paced and on a correspondence basis, and are offered on a number of subjects.

International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) INTERMEDIATE LEVEL COURSE
IPSAS conceptual training aims to develop understanding of IPSAS principles and requirements and to examine its impact on work processes as well as on the presentation of financial statements.

Conceptual training is delivered in three stages:

1. Working Knowledge level, on-line course (prerequisite for Intermediate Level course)
2. Intermediate level, Instructor-led courses
3. Advanced level, Instructor-led course
