    Introduction:
    All of us should be able to perform first aid because we will eventually find ourselves in a situation requiring it, either for another or for ourselves. The risk of injury while traveling, working, or playing is so great that most people sustain a significant injury at some time during their lives.

    Properly applied first aid may mean the difference between life and death, rapid recovery and long hospitalization.

    Objectives:
    Increase the awareness on:





    How to handle the first crucial minutes of a medical emergency, and knowing what action to take in a medical emergency
    The victim assessment and goals of first aid.
    How to summon help and transport the victim.
    How to perform proper steps of CPR

    Topics to be covered :
    Increase the awareness on:






    Head and Spinal injury.
    Bleeding, body part amputation.
    Fracture bones
    First aid for burns and scald
    First aid for near drowning
    Cardio pulmonary resuscitation
