  General Service Development Programme (GSDP)
Application Workshop
    Duration: 1/2 day

    Facilitator: Mr. Robert Anderson, Consultant from New York
    Target audience: General Service and related categories staff who have completed at least GSD I. Also recommended for all staff who have completed GSD II, III and IV.

    Objectives: This workshop has been designed exclusively for participants to bring real cases from their work environment for analysis and solutions. At the conclusion of the training, participants will be able to:
     




    further equipped to resolve difficult situations that occur in their workplace by
    considering different approaches to dealing with difficult situationsIncrease their ability to influence other

    Topics to be covered:
     



    Participants will be expected to bring cases/situations they have experienced in their daily workplace where they need input to approach a difficult situation in a more constructive manner. This hands-on approach to problem-solving will incorporate previously learned skills such as active listening, the use of personal preferences and styles in shaping communications, work assignment conversations and giving and receiving feedback.
