International Conference on: Evidence-based Practice: Towards Evidence-based Policymaking in Health Sector Development4-6 September 2000, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Final announcement and Registration form As you may already know, the Malaysian Ministry of Health in collaboration with WHO is organising an international conference in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on 4-6th September 2000. The title of the conference is "International Conference on Evidence-based Practice: Towards Evidence-based Policymaking in Health Sector Development". Attached please find the final conference announcement flyer for your further information. Highlights of this international conference includes the international faculty of speakers sharing their own experience and expertise in areas of great interest in health sector development and presentation of studies and information on countries within the region. We are also pleased to highlight our one-day post-conference seminar by Dr Christopher JL Murray discussing the new WHO Health Systems Performance Assessment Framework that is used in the World Health Report 2000. With enough interested delegates, there will also be a 2-day field visit to various health facilities and establishments on the 7 & 8th September.
