The sixtieth session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific was held in Shanghai, China, from 22 to 28 April 2004. During this session, the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States jointly organized a panel discussion.
